Is your Logik fridge freezer having problems? Perhaps it's frosted over everything inside, and caused you to throw away perfectly good food? Or maybe it's the opposite and your fridge/freezer combo can't keep anything cold. Whatever the problem, there are some pretty good and easy fixes you can attempt at home before calling for an electrician.
The most common Logik fridge freezer problems are a dirty grid, frozen or faulty sensors, compressor pressure, or busted seals.
Keep reading for a detailed explanation of the most common (and most easily fixed) Logik fridge freezer problems.

Fridges and freezers are extremely complicated machines. This means that they're often difficult to troubleshoot as there are a lot of small things that can go wrong. And just like a car or any other technically intricate contraption, if one thing is out of whack the whole machine comes to a halt.
Let's look at some of those small parts and what can go wrong with them, shall we?

This is the best-case scenario if your fridge/freezer combo stopped working. Generally, if your electronics haven't been cleaned recently and you're experiencing problems, this is the best first stop. While you're at it, let's clean out the back of the fridge - you know what I'm talking about. You've ignored it for far too long, take this as a sign and get that mystery meal out of the Tupperware.
This is a rather simple fix, so follow along and see if that solves your problem.

If your fridge is freezing over or the freezer itself is getting too cold, this is the next best bet. Often, the sensor in your fridge that detects when and how much to cool off the interior will get frozen over time. This prevents it from properly performing its job. To fix this, do the following:
First things first - if this fix doesn't work and you're confident that it's the compressor that's out, it is likely time to get a new fridge. Replacements for compressors cost, on average, £150-360 not including labour to replace it. This makes it a spendy fix that may not even solve the problem. If you're in the market for a new fridge, consider looking at our list of the best American fridges/freezers on the market.
Now without further ado, here's what to do to (hopefully) fix minor compressor issues in your Logik fridge:
This is another potential cause of your refrigerator woes. Seals are the little rubber bits that allow your fridge to, well, seal. This keeps the temperature inside where it should be and helps keep the fridge airtight. If you've noticed a spike in your power bill recently, this could be the cause - if your seals are busted, the fridge will have to work harder to keep everything cold. This will often result in spoiled or frozen food.
To fix this, do the following:
If you're having Logik fridge freezer problems, the above steps hopefully helped you out. We tried to focus on fixes you can do at home to avoid spendy replacement parts and electricians - but sometimes easy fixes just can't solve the problem.
If nothing above fixed the issues, it's likely time to start looking for a new fridge. Refrigerator parts are often extremely expensive in comparison to the fridge itself, making it unlikely to be worth the money to try out various fixes that may or may not work. And please, dispose of your fridge responsibly - most areas will have dedicated places for you to recycle your refrigerator properly. If simply taken to the dump, that fridge will be there for the rest of time - and nobody wants that.
