"Check you receive the timer version"
"Exact copy of the 18 year old fan that had failed so was very easy to fit. Note: Despite ordering the timer version, the 1st one that was delivered was just a plain A10/4 without the T on the end - this was obvious from the packaging so I returned it and re-ordered. Also note, the connector block on the PCB where the red fan wires go had loose screws, I would check both reds, blue, brown and black are tight before connecting to your household supply. Fan over-run when light is switched off is controlled by a small red wheel (variable resistor) on the circuit board, be aware when adjusting as you are near live contacts when the fan cover is off. I found that moving it approx 3mm from its default position gave a 5 minute over-run. This is not covered in the instructions."

"Waste of money"
"Iv had this a year now and it’s been a nightmare from the start. I should of sent it back. The first few days after installing it stayed on constantly for 2 day straight. Then worked when shower come on but stayed on for hours after shower was off even with no steam or condensation in my bathroom. I stuck with it out of stubbornness as my wife told me not to buy it because of the bad reviews. I thought the bad reviews were from people that didn’t know how to set it up and I would be able to set it up and prove her wrong 😒. Turns out she was right. You have a opinion to move a jumper block to make the fan speed faster and that’s what I did straight away when installing it. You can also adjust the timer and I did that to the lowest run time and the moisture sensor I adjusted to minimum to. But still it has its own mind and just turns on and off when it wants to. When you turn shower on it turns on and we not turn off for hours or days. Running all night long to just wasting my expensive electricity 🥵. Then it will be off and randomly turn its self on in the middle of the night and it wakes us up. So at the moment it got the wires pulled out. So not using it at all. My bathroom isn’t big it’s 5x6ft. Iv only come on here today to buy another one that’s on a switch and not a sensor. I’m not one for writing reviews normally as I just can’t be bothered. But as I’m here speed more money because this was a waste of money I thought I’d let you all know NOT TO WASTE YOURS"

"Straight replacement for the Silavent model with the same product code."
"Bought as a direct replacement for a silavent model with the same product code. Quick check whilst the old one was still in place showed that there was absoloutely no difference to the units except for the Domus sticker on the outside. Im no electrician, but it was easily installed. Isolated the fan from the power supply (Easy, as we have an isolator switch outside the bathroom). Just disconnected the three electrical wires from the old unit, four screws holding it in the ceiling, and just reversed the process and installed it. Straight snug fit into the hole. Turned the isolator switch back on and hey presto i now have a quieter fan. There are installation instructions which are adequate if needed, but if its a straight replacement you should not need them As usual fast next day delivery by Amazon at a very competitive price. Pointlessgoing out and wasting petrol trying to save a pound or so."
