"Very solid and well made. Big step from my previous Einhell saw. Worth spending the time going through the set-up stages making sure everything is correct and locked down. Also recommend making a Cross-cut Sled as the Mitre Gauge supplier, although much better than the Einhell one, is still a tad wobbly."

"Very good table saw, once you've assembled it"
"It took a while to assemble, because the instructions that came with it are carelessly written and confusing for anyone assembling one of these for the first time. I still haven't managed to get the rulers in a reliable position but I double-check measurements before cutting and, so far, have had to adjust the reading on the ruler by 1.5 mm. I built a sled to cut mild steel tubing and it worked beautifully for accurate, repeat cuts (to within 1mm). I've also used it to cut plywood and battens for our current project. All in all, I'm more confident in being able to produce repeatable and accurate cuts using the Evolution Rage 5-S that with my circular saw alone. Very impressed so far."

"Great for DIY will cut different matterial easily"
"Assembly took a little while, once up and running its quite loud, I wear ear defendrs so that's not an issue, I woul suggest that you should wear them however to avoid ear damage . The machine cuts wood and metal easily very Impressive actually. The blade is obviously a compromise as it Cutts sll sorts of things . How long it will last I don't know. Its not the most accurate measuring scale on the machine, however as long as you double check measurement it does the job. I've just cut through 15 tubular steel bars 15mm thick with ease. I can recommend this item its not a Makita or Dewalt, but is very cheap and dies the job well. All Mtmy other tools are makita ( sliding mitre saw) and its not in that league at all but its 3 times cheaper and for occasional use its brilliant. I don't think it would last as a ' work a day tool' But I know that not what or who it was designed for. I'm a fussy buyer and I'm well pleased with the price and what it does."

"Great mid level saw"
"Firstly, this is a great saw. No doubt about it. It's very easy to set up, it's simple to adjust and the fence is excellent. It's very well made and everything runs lovely and square making it very ease to build and set up jigs and sleds. There are 2 things that let this saw down though: 1) the T slots - the supplied mitre gauge is dreadful (this is expected for a saw in this price bracket) however the t slots aren't a standard size so buying an alternative mitre gauge is difficult. 2) dust collection - granted, this is a job site table saw and so dust collection probably isn't a priority for most but I was shocked at how much dust collected under and around the unit even with an extractor running off the dust port. All this being said I'm very happy with my purchase and would still recommend it to the serious hobbyist woodworker/DIYer."
