The bathroom extractor fan does a lot of work in ensuring that your bathroom is free of mould and mildew.

Here’s what you will need to clean a bathroom extractor fan;
Before you begin the process, cover your hair with a shower cap and spread the old newspaper on the floor. The shower cap will prevent your hair from getting dirty whereas the newspaper on the floor will catch small pieces of dust falling from the ceiling.
Once you have done all the necessary preparations, use the screwdriver to remove the screws holding the fan cover and remove it. Soak it in soapy water and then go ahead and remove the fan blade. Wipe both sides of the blades using a window cleaning fluid. Use a damp cloth to wipe away any build-up or debris. Sometimes the debris on the blade may be difficult to wide off, which may prompt you to use a damp sponge instead. When using a sponge, be gentle to avoid leaving unsightly markings on the surface of the blade. You should use cotton buds to reach the finicky parts of the fan because they are often hard to reach with a large piece of cloth.
Once you are done removing the debris from the blades and you have cleaned the cover of the fan, reach for the motor and using the cotton buds, wipe away the debris from it. More often than not, the debris on the motor is easy to remove by giving the motor a gentle blow. Once you have done all this and you are satisfied with the cleaning results, you can assemble the fan back together and have fun with the rejuvenated performance. Cleaning the bathroom extractor fan on a regular basis is a great way of ensuring that it is performing efficiently.
