Once you are done applying the olive oil, take your favourite pizza sauce and spread it over the crust. You can add as much or as little sauce as you want. On the other hand, if you prefer a white pizza you can skip the sauce and add a little more olive oil (the amount of sauce is responsible for the brown colour of the pizza crust).

This part is not hard at all. Even better, this is where you design your dream pizza flavour! You can experiment with toppings and make your own recipes, so to speak.
Once you have chosen your toppings, make sure that they are thinly sliced or in small pieces. This will ensure that they are properly heated and they will also be easier to eat.
Lay your favourite toppings on the sauce starting with the heavier toppings at the bottom followed by the lighter toppings like spinach leaves at the top. Commonly used toppings include tomato passata, mozzarella, vegetables, fruit, mushrooms, and pre-cooked meat.
Pro tips: Meat toppings should always be cooked prior to putting them on the pizza. When you bake the pizza, raw meat cannot be properly cooked. Pre-cooked meat will, however, heat up nice and tasty. Also, remember not to add too many vegetables as this will make your pizza soggy.

Put the pizza in the oven, close the door and press the start button. When the baking is done, an alarm will alert you that the pizza is ready. However, if you are uncertain about whether the pizza needs a few extra minutes, have a look at the crust. A pizza is definitely ready when the crust turns to a crispy golden brown and the cheese has completely melted. Use kitchen gloves to hold the pizza tray to avoid getting burnt. If you don’t have mitts, you can grab a pair of dish towels and use them to remove the tray from the oven.
